Welcome to Camping in South Yorkshire

Book now for a stunning camp site for the 2014 Tour de France Grand Depart in Yorkshire. South Yorkshire has stunning views, pennine moor land and the Trans pennine trail nearby. The Trans Pennine Trail is a key part of the National Cycle Network  in the north of England - this is a network of 10,000 miles of walking and cycle routes across the country developed by Sustrans.

Huddersfield, Manchester, Wakefield and Sheffield all offer mainline railway stations with our nearest stations being Honley, Brockholes Penistone Sheffield Barnsley.

Free on-site parking will be available for 1 car or MPV per pitch and this represents a massive advantage over people visiting only for the day of the race as parking and access to the are  itself will be very limited on the day.  For this reason alone we must insist on a 2 night minimum stay.
